Today I saw my first monsoon rain. Around 3:00 I noticed it get darker in the building. Around 4 I could hear the rain hitting the building. One of the guys grabbed and had me walk out on the balcony. I thought a fog rolled in. However the rain was coming down so hard that it had this affect. I could not see more than 100 ft. The winds were howling, the rain was whirling around in the wind and there was a lightning. I have never seen the rain come down like that before. It was intense.

Almost all roads in the area have standing water on them. A couple areas in Delhi had washouts.
